Delete your account

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Who this is for

This page covers accounts for the WatchPost Grid app on iOS and Android and the WatchPost web application at app.watchpost.net. WatchPost, Inc. runs both. Your utility creates your account, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

How to ask

  • Email josh@watchpost.net from the address you sign in with.
  • Use the subject "Delete my WatchPost account".
  • Name your utility, so we can find the right account.

Send the deletion email. We reply to confirm that the request came from you. We then delete the account within 30 days and tell your utility's administrator.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in account, email address and display name.
  • Your settings, including quiet hours and appearance.
  • Each phone's push token and installation ID.
  • Every stored position from "Alerts where you are".
  • Your conversations with the Sentinel assistant.

What we keep

Work you did in your utility's data stays with your utility, for example inspection notes, work orders and the alerts your utility sent. Your utility owns those records. Alert records with a position expire after 30 days, as the privacy policy describes.

Other ways

Your utility's administrator can also remove your account. Signing out of the app deletes that phone's token and stored positions right away, but it does not delete your account.
